Association Atelierul de Creație is pleased to welcome you to the fourth edition of the project White Night for Product Creators and Designers that will take place on October 17th. All guests will spend a weekend like no other at the Casino Center for urban culture, situated in the Central Park Simion Bărnuțiu from Cluj.
We come up with a white night, friendly atmosphere, inspiration, design ideas, all sustained by more than 15 participants that are worth the reputation of creators and designers from Romania. Visual artists, architects, products designers, creators of unique products and sculptors will exhibit 100 products, all ready to be admired and captured in photos. Once you join our event – the White Night for Product Creators and Designers – you will have an insight on the newest trends regarding contemporary jewelery, fashion design and original creations. DJ Frunză will make the atmosphere even more pleasant. What is more, the entrance is free.
The White Night for Product Creators and Designers is one of the most important annual events of the kind organized in Romania. It promotes works belonging to creators from the Romanian cultural space, through pop-up exhibitions in three different cities, in three major cultural centers. Financed by the Administration of National Cultural Fund, the project White Night for Product Creators and Designers is in continual expansion, which means that this year it managed to include Timișoara on the list with host cities (in Timișoara, the event will take place on October 31st, at The Embassy – Ambasada).
This year we are launching a call for complementary projects – pop-up exhibitions, workshops, studios for artists – aimed to cover all the cities from Romania and to trigger the promotion of the Romanian creative industry and its community.

During the four years of existence, The White Night for Product Creators and Designers has become a networking platform, both active and inspiring, dedicated to creative and talented people from Romania. Our project was a finalist in the Civil Society Gala, in the sections Art and culture and Impact. Also, our volunteers were among the finalists at the Volunteers’ National Gala, the section Art and culture.
The project The White Night for Product Creators and Designers aims to support, promote and enlarge the community of designers and product creators from Romania. At the same time, the project brings together designers and product creators from Romania and offers a well defined status to this community from the creative industry. It is a brave networking project realized by a competitive team, that believes in the community of designers and product creators from Romania.
The association Atelierul de Creaţie was created in 2011 in order to support and constantly promote the contemporary values of the Romanian culture. Since then, we directly involve in the creative industry of product design, in the promotion of the cultural education through events organized in different cities from Romania, in the preservation and support of the Romanian traditional culture. Since 2014, we ensure a cultural mobility through our participation in similar events held abroad (as media representatives): Dutch Design Week, Eindhoven, 2015, The international market for author’s products Frankfurt Messe, DaWanda Designmarkt, Tendence Messe Frankfurt, Handwerk & Design 2013-2015, Munchen.
In 2010, before having a legal status, we created the website Atelierul (that can be checked here or here), the only magazine dedicated to designers and product creators from Romania. More than 50 people volunteer for our association with whom we carried more than 20 projects for product designers in different cities from Romania. We can be your partner for a cultural event you may want to develop. In four years we published more than ten online magazines. In addition, we are co-organizers of the product market LaBazar and of the festival Femei pe Mătăsari (Women on Mătăsari street).
