With the KREATIVCAMPUS.RUHR, ecce is initiating an entirely new format designed to promote interdisciplinary cooperation between artists and creatives from the Ruhr Region and Europe, which for one enables co-productions in residencies in the Ruhr Region – the future location for creativity. At the end of the residencies the artistic productions are presented within the framework of a two-day conference and award ceremony.

With these residencies, the KREATIVCAMPUS.RUHR are offering artists or artist collectives (regional/EU) the opportunity to carry out their creative work together at the Ruhr Region – the future location for creativity – for three to five months. The artists receive financial support and are able to not only work as free as possible from economic pressure, but also to establish contacts, gain interdisciplinary knowledge and find new inspiration.

The Call to apply for the residency programme starts on the 1st May 2020 and is open until the 30th June 2020.
In addition to the monthly scholarship/grant, the artists of the selected co-productions will receive support with their travel expenses and production costs, as well as the opportunity to win a prize of up to 20,000 euros, awarded by an international jury of experts.
The award ceremony will take place as the festive conclusion of the residencies at the final KREATIVCAMPUS.RUHR conference.

Applications for the KERATIVCAMPUS.RUHR residence program are possible as from May 1st until June 30th, 2020 +++

An international jury consisting of five people is currently being composed. Care is taken to ensure that the composition of the jury members is as balanced as possible and that European, national and regional artists, creatives and actors from the most varied areas of art and culture complement each other. The members of the jury will be published on our homepage shortly.
