A’ Design Award is an international, juried design accolade established to recognize and promote good designs.

A’ Design Award & Competition (designaward.com), one of the World’s largest and most diffused international design awards announced results of the 2022 – 2023 design competition: 1884 Winners from 114 countries in 140 different design disciplines. Entries were carefully evaluated by an internationally influential jury panel composed of established scholars, prominent press members, creative design professionals and experienced entrepreneurs who devoted great care and attention to details while voting each entry. The A’ Design Awards are given for Good Spatial Design (Architecture, Interior Design, Urban Design and Landscape Design), Good Industrial Design (Product Design, Appliance Design, Vehicle Design and Machinery Design), Good Communication Design (Graphics Design, Interaction Design and Marketing Design), Good Fashion Design (Garment Design, Fashion Accessory Design and Footwear Design), Good System Design (Service Design, Design Strategy, Quality & Innovation) as well as for Achievements in Arts & Literature.

The winners of the competition receive: Design Award Winner Logo, Award Trophy, Winners’ Certificate, Gala-Night Invitation, Yearbook Publication Inclusion Service, The Annual Yearbook, Design Award Winner’s Exhibition (Physical), Winner Showcase (Digital), Promoted to Media Partners, Honorific Title and Rating Assignment and many other benefits, see the list here.

The A’ Design Prize is a highly coveted and comprehensive winners’ kit given to A’ Design Award & Competition laureates to help dissemination of their news to further and wider international audiences. In addition to the trophy, certificate and book, the A’ Design Prize includes PR and marketing services such as translation of award winning works to dozens of languages, press release preparation and distribution, lifetime license to use “award winner” logo, public relations campaign for winners and communication of awarded works to thousands of media members.

Flip Chair by Kuan-Cheng Chen

The Flip chair design was inspired by the serene feeling of sitting on a grassy lawn, where one can enjoy the natural softness, warmth, and gentle breeze of the environment. The chair’s „flip” theme embodies the graceful movement of grass in the wind, creating a dynamic and organic form. To achieve this effect, computer programs were used to simulate the fluidity and folds of the chair’s seat. The wood was bent into shape using steam, replicating the natural curves and contours of the grassy landscape. The resulting product was then meticulously handcrafted to provide users with an authentic and immersive natural experience. The seat’s flipping surface offers a unique and comfortable sitting experience, as if one is lounging on a custom-shaped patch of grass.

The goal of Hexa design was to achieve a lamp that provides the lighting of the architectural space in two broad and localized modes, has the ability to expand in the space and improves the quality of the space in terms of aesthetics. A Hexa is one third of a full hexagon. This division increases the ability of Hexa in the variety of composition and expansion.

Tenki Spliced Magnetic Attraction Toy by Linglin Liang

Tenki is a splice type digital toys for children. This design provides basic power knowledge for children through different power generation modules and combination of power modules. Magnetic suction module is built into the toy structure to bury the wire into the connector. This form avoids the hidden danger of wire exposure caused by traditional electronic toys. Tenki aims to effectively connect children with digital life in a more accessible and low-threshold form.
