Following the tremendous success of the previous edition, Milano Jewelry Week returns to enrich the city from October 15 to 20, 2024. This event embellishes Milan with jewels from around the world, creating an exciting festival involving participants worldwide. They exhibit in numerous events throughout the city center, attracting international visitors, jewelry professionals, and media.
Endorsed by the Municipality of Milan and CNA Federmoda, the 2023 edition collaborated with prestigious partners such as AOL (Associazione Orafa Lombarda), ACJ (Association for Contemporary Jewellery), HRD Antwerp, and A.N.T.I.C.O (Associazione Nazionale Tutela il Comparto Oro). Milano Jewelry Week aims to showcase and present the diverse facets of the jewelry sector, identifying Milan as an ideal setting for international excellences to narrate their stories, traditions, and innovations. Key industry experts are invited: buyers, designers, galleries, enthusiasts, and national and international media.
The week’s program includes numerous Experiential Journeys in scattered locations throughout the city center. Brands, goldsmiths, designers, and jewelry manufacturers from Lombardy’s capital host visitors in their locations, organizing special events, theme exhibitions, previews of collections, live performances, press meetings, cocktail parties, and workshops. The Galdus School once again hosts the Talent Show, organized in collaboration with Rossana Ricolfi, Coordinator, Contact Person, and Technical Teacher at the Galdus Goldsmith School, and Andreia Gabriela Popescu, Senior Lecturer at Assamblage School and award-winning contemporary jewelry artist. In this context, international schools and academies have the opportunity to present the creations of their young talents. A jury of authoritative international academic figures evaluates the works, awarding the most deserving students with the Best Talent Award during the MJW Awarding Night. These talented individuals have the chance to win free access to high-level courses offered by international jewelry schools.
